George Neculaiu

I am committed to serving Wigmore with dedication, integrity, and transparency, ensuring that you feel heard and represented. I have lived in Luton for many years, and during that time it has truly become my home. From the very first day we moved in, when our neighbours welcomed us with a cake, I felt the warmth and kindness that make this town special. That simple gesture gave me a sense of belonging and pride that has only grown stronger over the years. It is this spirit of community, neighbours supporting neighbours and looking out for one another, that I believe we must protect and strengthen, no matter what challenges we face.

I work in the construction industry, managing building projects and making sure they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. My studies in Law and Civil Engineering Management have given me a strong understanding of regulations and how major projects are successfully delivered. Over the years, I have built a respected career based on professionalism, responsibility, and attention to detail. My experience has equipped me with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make balanced, informed decisions — qualities I believe are essential for effective local leadership.

Outside of my professional life, I am passionate about giving back to our community. I volunteer as a football coach at Luton Allstars FC, where I help young people develop teamwork, confidence, and discipline through sport. Supporting young people and helping them reach their potential is something I care deeply about. I have also taken part in charity boxing events to raise funds for organisations that support children in need. I am someone who stands up for what is right and works hard to make a positive difference. I am ready to bring energy, accountability, and practical leadership to Wigmore and to Luton, always putting our community first.
