Dear Residents,

I am writing to you with some regret to let you know that, for personal reasons, I have
decided to step down as your Liberal Democrat councillor for Wigmore Ward. This decision
has not been an easy one, but circumstances have led me to move away from the area.
It has truly been a privilege to represent Wigmore since my election in 2013, and to continue
the work I began previously as a councillor for Round Green Ward. Over the years, I have
met many dedicated residents and have been proud to speak up on your behalf on issues
both large and small — from major concerns such as airport expansion, to everyday matters
like potholes and local maintenance.

Throughout my time as your councillor, I have been supported by my Liberal Democrat
colleagues, and together we have worked hard to challenge issues affecting our community.
This has included scrutinising the impact of airport expansion, particularly around noise and
pollution, raising concerns about the new housing development at Cockernhoe and its effect
on Wigmore, and working to protect our area from environmental impacts linked to the
proposed solar farm at Breechwood Green and changes to Wigmore Park.

As a result of my resignation, a byelection will be held in due course. I would like to sincerely
thank you for the trust and support you have shown me and the Liberal Democrats over the
years. I am confident that an excellent candidate will be standing for Wigmore Ward and will
continue to represent you with dedication.

In the meantime, please be assured that support is still available. If you have any concerns

I wish the new candidate every success in the forthcoming election, and I would like to thank
